Intermediate Latent Print Comparison Course

This 40-hour course is designed for those who have completed a basic or introductory level course in latent print comparison and desire to build on those foundations. Concepts presented include smart searching techniques, orientation clues, effects of surface type, distortion and manner of deposition on the appearance of latent impression and requirements for documentation will be presented. Extensive hands-on comparisons exercises using latent finger and palm prints will be performed by students during the course of this class.
